In 2014, I had the privilege of being part of a crucial project in Saudi Arabia to improve organ donation rates. We aimed to address knowledge gaps, cultural sensitivities, and build a more efficient organ donation system.
As a quality consultant, my role focused on studying current processes and flowcharts, identifying areas for improvement, improving systems, policies and procedures, educational materials for healthcare professionals on how to identify possible donors, streamlining anticipated hospital protocols for organ procurement, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
It was incredibly rewarding to contribute to a project with such a significant impact on patients waiting for life-saving transplants. This video from my design, was a part of this project to conduct the message through media.
